Obituary

"Ginny" Mary Virginia Mogar, 81, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. She was born on November 30, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was a stay-at-home mother and wife until she began work as a school bus driver and later for the New Jersey Transit Authority. She took pride in her work, but making memories with her family was her focus. She and her husband, Charlie traveled the world! They enjoyed cruises together and traveled to Alaska, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, to name a few favorite places. Ginny & Charlie's favorite adventure was on an African Safari! One of her favorite memories to share was when she was approached and curiously touched by a baby gorilla! When she told the story, even years later, her face would light up with excitement. Later, Ginny became a member of the Sunshine Club in Palm Coast, bringing happiness and positivity to anyone she came across. She was a member of the Peeps Club, which decorated the Christmas tree at the Flagler County Library, which was a sweet gesture of kindness. Ginny also had a passion for football and was a lifetime member of the Philadelphia Eagles Fan Club ("It's a Philly Thing"). She made many friends and made Palm Coast her community. Ginny became involved in social clubs, weekly card clubs, bus trips for weekend among other adventures just after her beloved husband 'Charlie' passed July of 2015.
Ginny was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Mogar, Jr. and older brother Joseph Williamson. She is survived by her son, Charles A. Mogar; son, Robert T. Mogar; daughter, Dawn E. Thompson; son, Bryan Mogar (wife, Cheryl Mogar); sister, Elaine Dersch; granddaughter, Angel Mogar; granddaughter, Kayleigh Anna Mogar; grandson, Charles "CJ" Mogar, Jr.; grandson, Nicholas Steven Silvestro; grandson, Michael Thomas Mogar; grandson, Jason Thompson (wife, Kara Thompson); granddaughter, Tiara Bender (husband, Kyle Bender); granddaughter, Annabella Halbruner; grandson, Luke Halbruner; granddaughter, Jennifer Womack (husband, Johnathan Womack); grandson, Tyler Mogar (wife, Lila Mogar); great grandchildren, Darryl Scott Crumpton Jr. Charlynne Grace Baird, Acty Legand Clements; Mariah Silvestro, Layla Silvestro, Landon Silvestro; Thomas Edward Mogar, Baby Girl Mogar; Talia Thompson, Jensen Thompson, Flora Rose Bender; Adriana Womack, Dominic Womack, and Harper James Womack; and other extended family and friends.
