Virginia (Ginny) Satter Baker passed away peacefully on June 14, 2021 at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center in Edgewater, Fl. at the age of 88.  Ginny was born in Red Bank, NJ on November 3rd, 1932.  Ginny is preceded in death by her husband George and her six siblings, Tom, Rich, Vick, Betty, Joan, and Carol.  She is survived by her sons John and Steve, daughter-in-law Pamela, and grandchildren Lauren Pou (Raul), Allison Bradbury (David), Nicole Rosa (Marc) and Steven Baker; great grandchildren Sofia and Rafael Pou, Hendrick Bradbury, and Zoe Rosa.  Her fifth great grandchild is expected to join our family in 2 weeks, our family's "Circle of Life".

Ginny and George started their careers together at Daytona International Speedway and then became owners and operators of Brooke Custom Cleaners, which was in our family for three generations. They expanded their horizons with two aviation businesses; American Aero Service owned and operated by Gary Norville  and George Baker Aviation, owned and operated by Curtis Boulware.  Ginny ran each of these businesses with impeccable standards.  She was a generous giver, nursed the sick, sheltered the needy, reassured the troubled and gave comfort to anyone that needed her kindness. The care she provided went to another level of expertise when in her 80's she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and "Pink Lady" volunteering in the ER of a local hospital.  During the past two years she was still known as a sweet and caring person to her friends and staff at Lexington Place. All those who were fortunate to know Ginny were blessed. She had so much to give.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM on Sept. 19, 2021 at Port Orange Presbyterian Church.
