Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ginette Janvier, who peacefully transitioned from this realm on July 3, 2026, at the age of 79 years young.

Born on May 21,1947 in Muzak Jacmel, Haiti Ginette lived a life defined by love, faith, strength, and compassion. As her mother passed away early in her teen years, Ginette nurtured and cares for her younger siblings. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Whether through her encouraging words, selfless acts of service, or warm smile, she left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was the devoted wife of Jacques Janvier Sr, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Together they built a family grounded in love, perseverance, and faith. As a couple they supported many family members to leave Haiti for a better life in the United States. To anyone blessed to be on her heart, their bond remains an enduring example of how to pay it forward.

Above all, Ginette cherished her family. She was a loving mother to Renel, Edwin, and Jacques Jr. A proud grandmother to Jazmyn, Tavius, Jacques III, Luckendy, Emara, Marcellus, and Messiah. Her greatest joy came from caring for those she loved and celebrating life's moments together.

Ginette enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining. She found happiness in serving others in order to help lessen the load that life drops on one's shoulders, and her legacy of compassion, resilience, and unconditional love will continue to inspire generations to come.

She is survived by Therese Paul, Josaphat "Guy" Clement, Suzanne Deronsle, Daniel Clement, François Clement, Anne-Marie Sejour, Gureline Clement, Evelyn Clement, Willie Clement, and Jean-Charles Clement and is reunited in eternal rest with Jesita Clement (mother), Jean Fabien Clement (father) and Jacques G. Janvier Sr (husband).

Please join us in paying our final farewell will be held on 7/22/2026 between 4p - 6p at;>
