Gilbert Nunez age 70 of Deltona passed away on Friday February 24 2012. A memorial service in his honor will be held 5:00 pm; Fri. March 2nd at Centro De La Familia Cristiano De Deltona Church Deltona Lake Baptist Church 2886 Elkcam Rd. Gilbert was born in Havana Cuba to Armando and Margot Nunez; he dedicated his talents as a Butcher for several years in New York and came to Miami as an exporter of livestock. He was a fun loving Christian gentleman with a wonder sense of humor who enjoyed fishing the beach dancing gardening taking care of his home and a great meal but most of all showing off his wonderful cooking skills. He leaves behind his broken hearted wife of 37 years; Theresa Rivera a son; Gilberto (Carolina) Nunez 2 daughters; Yadira (Carlos Cuello) Hernandez and Yelida (Al Fundora) Hernandez a sister; Mimie Nunez 4 grandchildren: Paulette Sharpe Erick Melo and Cesar and Monica Baez and a great grandson: Geo Sharpe.
