Funeral services for Gilbert A. Bonforte 75 of Clearview Court North in Palm Coast will be Friday November 26th at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Lohman Palm Coast Funeral Home. Father Sabastian of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Palm Coast will officiate. His family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Mr. Bonforte passed away Sunday November 21st at Florida Hospital-Flagler. Born in Long Island City he was a resident of this area since moving here 6 years ago from Mt. Kisco NY. Gilbert received his Civil Engineering Degree in 1950 from Manhattan College and continued as a Civil Engineer until retiring in 1998. An Army veteran with the rank of Sergeant he was a published author of many professional articles and had a life-long passion for fishing crabbing and boating. Gilbert will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years Annalise and their 4 children Michael Bonforte of Mt. Kisco NY Caryn Purcell of Ridgefield Conn. Anneliese Bonforte of Mt. Kisco NY and Felicia Hess of St. Augustine FL. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
