Obituary

Gilbert Angeline age 87 of Holly Hill passed away into the loving arms of his wife on Thursday September 6th 2012. The family will receive guests for a visitation on Saturday September 8th 2012 from 11:00 ~ 12:00 noon at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon with the burial to immediately follow after at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery. Gilbert was born February 8th 1925 in Gans PA to the late Alverio and Felicia Angeline. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of WWII. Gilbert worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Baltimore & Ohio Railways. Following his retirement he and his wife moved to Ormond Beach in 1975. He was a life member of the VFW Post #1590 and American Legion Post #120. Gilbert was also quite the treasure hunter who enjoyed a good find! He will be deeply missed by his loving family and all who knew him. Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents seven siblings his beloved wife of 63 years Shirley and grandson Jared. Survivors include his children; daughters Bina (Bobby) Booth Pamela (Doug) Angeline-Simpson Regina (Paul) Nicholson; sons Gilbert (Karen) Angeline and Jerry (Judy) Angeline; grandchildren Stephanie Shawn Joshua Jessica Barry and Shelby; eight great grandchildren three great-great children and many close family members and friends.
