Gertrude F. (Wright) Repman 91 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on November 4th, 2023.

Gerturde was born on August 27th, 1932 in Jamaica Queens, New York to James and Freida (Pressler) Wright. She married Clarence D. (Joe) Repman on May 30th, 1953. They were married for 65 years until his passing on May 25th, 2018.

Gertrude is predeceased by her husband Joe; son, Calvin; grandson, Christopher; sisters, Hannah Wright, Mary (Wright) Servotke, Thomasina, (Wright) Cinelli; and brothers, James Wright and Robert Wright. She is survived by her loving son & caregiver Fred; loyal little pup, Zoey, who always stood guard protecting her; three very special ladies, Sue Magoon (God daughter), Eve Cinelli-Nahabedian (niece), Stephanie (Repman) Lewis (daughter in law), whom she regarded as her "daughters"; Lisa and Victoria (grand daughters); and special friend and home health caregiver, Shpresia.

Gertrude worked as a laboratory secretary at southside hospital in Bayshore, New York. She also stayed very active volunteering for various organizations such as the American Red Cross, while raising her two sons Calvin and Fred. After she retired, Gertrude and her husband Joe moved to Florida. She remained active volunteering at Pinellas County Hospital, Memorial Hospital of Ormond Beach and Council of Catholic Women. She was a dedicated parishioner as well as a volunteer at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ormond Beach for many years.

Gertrude was also a celebrated member of the "Daytona Divas" Red Hat Society which she joined with her sister "Tommie" Cinelli. Anyone who knew these two ladies knew that they were "two peas in a pod". They were not only sisters, they were the best of friends as well as each others' rock.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Gentiva Hospice who assisted with Gertrude's care at this very difficult time. Their compassion and professionalism will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Humane Society of Volusia County and the Pregnancy Crisis Center of Daytona Beach would be greatly appreciated.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. A Visitation will be held on November 10th, 2023 from 10 AM to 1 PM, with a Funeral Service following at Lohman's at 733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. Burial will follow at Volusia Memorial Park.
