Our dear beloved, Gerda Margaret Register, went into the heavenly arms of her Lord and Savior on August 6, 2014.

Gerda was born in Nurnberg, Germany on October 1, 1931. She came to America around 1953 and became a United States citizen in 1965. Gerda will always be remembered for her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, lover for her family, friends and devotion to her church family at CrossRoads Baptist Church.

Gerda is survived by her son, Michael (Mary) Register; daughter, Nanette (Paul) Jones; grandchildren, Stacy (Chris) Logsden, Jennifer (Ray) DeBenedict, Amanda (Darrell) Nicholson, Walton (Krissy) Jones, and step-grandson, Aaron Lamppa. Great-grandchildren, Christopher, Dalton, Mary Ann, Sarah, Danielle, Lauren, Keeley, Braydon, Trenton, Aliyah, and Isabella. Gerda was preceded in death by infant daughter, Elizabeth; husband Walton and son, Ray. Gerda will be sadly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 A.M at CrossRoads Baptist Church, 1851 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. Daytona Beach, FL 32119. A gathering will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will take place at a later date.
