Geraldine A. Troup's Obituary
Geraldine A. Troup, 85, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014. She was born on July 20, 1928 in Canton, Ohio, to Austin and Clara Graber. Geraldine moved to Daytona Beach, Florida with her late husband, Robert D. Troup, in 1959.
She retired from the Volusia County School System in 1985 after many years at Mainland High School as a teacher and administrator. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority and was an avid bridge player. Her greatest thrill was to be able to shop for and spend time with her five grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Jon G. (Beverly Allen) Troup of South Daytona and Robert G (Joyce Clifton) Troup of Port Orange, five grandchildren: Lauren (Ryan) Kilbreath 33, Andrea Troup 33, Paige (Jarrod) Buldo 30, Garrett Troup 27, and Robert Troup 24, two great grandsons: Easton J. Kilbreath and Kinley J. Buldo.
A Celebration of Life of Geraldine will be held at a later date. Condolences can be shared through this online guest book.
