Geraldine Phillips 79 of Daytona Beach FL passed away on June 3 2011 at her home. The family will receive friends on Monday June 6th between the hours of 6-8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Geraldine's funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 7th at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Geraldine was born July 20 1931 in Pikeville Kentucky to Ballard and Myrtle (Carter) Slone. She has been a resident of Volusia County since 1968 relocating from Woodhaven Michigan. She was a certified Nursing Assistant she loved caring for others and spending her spare time shopping listening to music and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years in 2007 Augestine Phillips. Geraldine is survived by two daughters Cheree (Randy) Byrd Plant City FL and Terrie (Donald) Ledbetter Farmersville TX by three brothers George Slone Pikeville KY Charles Slone Jenkins KY and Ronald Slone Cleveland TN by two sisters Billie McCoy Pikeville KY and Irene Edwards Riverview MI also by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
