Geraldine (Jean) Cascardo (née Hudson), age 96, died peacefully on February 1, 2023, at Majestic Oaks Nursing Home. She was a resident of John Knox Village in Orange City, Florida. Jean is survived by her daughter, Lynne Slaven (Larry) of Dayton, Ohio, son, Robert Cascardo of Walnut Creek, California, grandchildren, Travis Dixon (Erin), Beth Fullenkamp (Jay), Daniel Dixon (Alisha), step-grandchildren, Rebecca Sutton (Ben), and Michael Slaven (Brittany) and twelve great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ralph G. Cascardo.

Jean and her husband moved from their home on Long Island, New York to Palm Coast, Florida in 1975, to Ormond Beach, Florida in 1997, and to John Knox Village in Orange City, Florida in 2010. Jean was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in DeBary, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at the John Knox Village Chapel at 11:00 AM on February 13, 2023. Jean will be buried with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
