Geraldine Brazie died peacefully in her home in Ormond Beach, FL on 8/25/23. She was born Feb. 13, 1937 in Amsterdam, NY. She grew up and lived in Cobleskill, NY most all her life until 1999, when she moved to Florida with her husband, Ray Brazie. They were married for 59 years. She worked at Lewis Wilson Insurance, as a receptionist, AT&T phone company as an operator, and Cobleskill-Richmondville School system as an aide. She is predeceased by her husband, Ray Brazie, her mother, Margaret (Dievendorf) Collyer, sisters: Kay Collyer, Eileen (Collyer) Evans.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Brazie) Garufi, son-in-law, Joseph Garufi of Cobleskill.  Cynthia/ Tia (Proper) Coleman (niece/caregiver), nephew, Michael Evans, and many other family members. Services will be provided as time is determined. Burial will be at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery, Cobleskill, NY.
