Gerald Jerry E. Upson Jr. 41 of Quail Run a native resident died at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial.
Jerry was a finish carpenter who enjoyed fishing hunting NASCAR racing and the Florida Gators.
Survivors include his parents Gerald and Wanda Upson; brother-in-law and sister Ned and Stephanie Rowley; brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Season Upson; nephews Kristopher Rowley and Noah Ashburn; niece Ashley Rowley; Grandmother Cecil L. Russell; aunts and uncles Bill and Sharon Upson Lee and Rita Upson Ebon and Neva Hill Richard and Barbara Hill; many cousins family members and dear friends all residing in the Daytona Beach area.
His grandmother Margaret Hill and his uncle Robert E. Hill preceded him in death. He also leaves behind his special dog ?Aussie.?
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 23 2003 at the Christ Presbyterian Church 1035 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach with Pastor Joe Wendorph officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in the memory of Jerry to the Dept. of Development Mayo Foundation 200 First Street S.W. Rochester MN 55905.
