Gerald Leonard passed away on August 19, 2021 at the age of 85 in South Daytona Beach, Florida. Gerald died peacefully with his beloved wife Arlie by his side.

Gerald was born in Miami, Florida on September 25, 1935, to Father James Leonard and Mother Rosanna Campbell Leonard. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Gerald, his wife, and two children moved from Miami to Islamorada, Florida in 1961. They owned and operated several entities, most notably the Coral Grill. In 1987 he and Arlie moved to Orlando Florida and started a new business venture in the residential construction industry. In 1991 he fully retired and soon settled into an equestrian community to both of his granddaughters' delight.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents James and Rosanna, brothers James, Robert, Frank and Paul, sisters Gertrude and Betty Jane. He is survived by his wife Arlie; children Michael and Michele; grandchildren Kalyn and Taylor; and great-grandson Douglas.

The funeral service will be at Lohman Funeral Home in Port Orange, Florida on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 4:00pm. Prior to the service there will be a visitation beginning at 3:00pm
