WARNER, GEORGIA HELEN KLUTZZ, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on September 15th at the age of 78 at her home in Port Orange, Florida. Her last days were spent with her two older sisters, talking to her daughters and spending time with her loving husband as they were preparing for a three week trip out West.

She was born on November 11, 1944 in Concord, North Carolina to the late Raymond and Evelyn Kluttz. She graduated high school from Montgomery Blair, in Silver Springs Maryland in 1962. She moved to Gardiner, Maine with her first husband in 1970, where she lived for 17 years and worked as a shift-leader at Shop-n-Save. It was in 1985 when she met the love of her life, Geoffrey Warner at the Bistro in Augusta, Maine when he helped her up after she had fallen off her chair. They married in 1988 surrounded by their children and close friends. They loved to Port Orange, Florida in 1990 where they built a beautiful home and life together where family and friends often gathered. She was known to open her home to anyone.

The most important thing in Georgia's life was spending time with her family and friends. In fact, she was known to be a social butterfly wherever she went. She enjoyed taking care of everyone she cared about - all while having the biggest smile on her face. She loved unconditionally, and always forgave. She had the ability when meeting a stranger to gain an instant friend. She invited people into her home with an open heart and a big smile, she never wanted anyone to be alone.

She loved traveling with her husband, reading and attending theater plays with her sisters, family and friends. She was very involved in her church and community activities.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Geoffrey Warner, her two older sisters Joyce Seltz (94) and Peggy Leizear (88). She and Geoff set the standard for love and friendship, and were committed and unselfish partners. They both have been role models for their four surviving children Debbie Robbins (John), Janet McCormick (Neil), Christine Terrell (Randall) and Brent Warner (Laura). She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Richie & Steven Ott, Ada & Colin McCormick, Doran & Fletcher Terrell and Oliver and Marlow Warner. She was also very close to all her nieces and nephews and their families, whom she loved very much. She is predeceased by her brother, Raymond Kluttz Jr. (92) and her parents, Raymond and Evelyn Kluttz.

She was truly a bright spirit in this world. On a recent trip to Glacier National Park (her favorite place) she found this plaque that is displayed in their home:

"Motto to Live By: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, "WOO HOO, what a ride!"

A celebration of her life will occur on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:30 AM at her beloved All Saints Church, 751 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange, Florida 32127, with a reception to follow in the church hall. She would want everyone to be comfortable so please come in casual attire. In lieu of flowers, Georgia asked for donations to her church in memory.
