Obituary

George M. Zorn 101 formerly of Trenton NJ passed away on January 11 2010 in Port Orange FL. He was born December 15 1908. As a young man he proudly served our Country in the US Navy. After returning from the service he became one of the first route salesmen for the Coca- Cola Bottling Company in Hightstown NJ where he worked for 30 years. After retiring he took a job driving a school bus and was known for keeping the kids in line! In 1978 he and his late wife M. Marie to whom he was married 46 years relocated to Port Orange to enjoy their retirement years. They were members of the Epiphany Church in Port Orange. George was very involved in The Loyal Order of Moose not only was he the longest living member of 80 years his monetary contributions over the years allowed many Mooseheart children to go to college. He was also a member of both the VFW and Elks Lodge in Port Orange. In his spare time he enjoyed dining out traveling playing cards and sharing many stories of his century of living! George celebrated each day and blessed many with his inspirational love of life. Left to cherish his memories sons George T. (Peggy) of Trenton NJ Robert (Patricia) Zorn of New Port Richey FL; grandchildren Robert (Abigail) Zorn Jr. of Trenton NJ Jeffrey Zorn of Franklin Park NJ Martin Zorn of Braka Germany Jennifer Zorn of Cranford NJ Kevin Zorn of Pennington NJ and several nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed the company of his dear lady friend of 20 years Dorothy James of Port Orange FL. A private service will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial donations be made in George's name to Moose Charities 155 International Drive Mooseheart IL 60539.
