George Vouvakis, born July 13, 1940 in Jersey City,  New Jersey, died July 16, 2018 in Ormond Beach, Florida. George was an intelligent gentleman being recognized in Who's Who, which recognizes prominent persons in their Respective fields. Mensa International, which recognizes high IQ. He attended and graduated from Rutgers College.  He served his country in the US Army. George was a member of The Rotary Club of Ormond Beach, Ormond Beach Elks, Ormond J.C.'s and The Hurley Club. George was retired from Volusia County as a Court Reporter.

He was the son of the late William and Maria Tatarus Vouvakis. Married for 48 years, on September 20, 1970 To Frances Cuzmanes.  George is survived by siblings, Louise Rainey and Joyce Vouvakis of San Diego CA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 20, 2018 at Lohman Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be Held at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 W. Granada Blvd, on Thursday July 19, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Condolences and memories are welcome to be shared with the family via this online guestbook.
