George Sabol 97 of Daytona Beach FL passed away August 9 2009. He was born in Youngstown Ohio on February 5 1912. George was raised in New Brunswick NJ and was educated in Perth Amboy NJ where he met and married his wife Wilma to whom he was married to for over 50 years. He worked as an Electrician and in the early 1940's proudly served our Country as a Navy Seebee. Upon his retirement in 1974 George and his wife relocated to Pomona Park Florida and in 1993 settled in Daytona Beach. He was a retired Electrician and Member of IBEW Local 456 a member of The Elks Lodge #114 and the Colonial Colony Square Club in Daytona Beach; a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Bass Capital Shrine Club of Crescent City; and a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church and Colony Community Church in Daytona Beach. When he was not involved in events at these organizations he could be found bowling with his friends. George loved his family dearly especially his Grandchildren and Great-Grandson. He was a giving man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He truly lived his life to the fullest and will be missed by all. He is survived by his son Thomas (Judith) Sabol of Newton NJ; Sister Janette (Herbert) Strove of Edison NJ; Grandsons Joshua (Melissa) Sabol and Matthew Sabol of Newton NJ and Great-Grandson David of Newton NJ.
