George E. Rich

George Edward Rich, 81, of Deleon Springs, FL went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2021
surrounded by his family. He was born March 28,1940 in Barre Center, NY, the son of the late
George Elbert and Pauline (Sargent) Rich.

He loved fishing, playing cards, and playing Farmtown. He loved spending time with his family
and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids at picnics at the park and fishing with
them. He worked in maintenance in SUNY Brockport and as a campground host at Clearwater
Lake Recreation area.

He is predeceased by his daughter Joann Rich in 1969 (at birth), his son James Edward Rich (56)
in August 2021, his son-in-law Russell Gray in May 2020, and his sister June (Rich) Emery in
May 2013.

He is Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carol A (Edwards) Rich. His loving daughters and
son, Maryann Rich of Deleon Springs, FL, Brenda (William) Barrett of Paisley, FL, Crystal
Ouellette of AZ, Tina (Rich) Howard of GA, and Thomas Rich of NY. He also has many
grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
