February 22 1918 - March 19 2007
ORMOND BEACH - George R. Jessop of Plantation Bay died Monday at his home.
Mr. Jessop was born in New York City graduating from Colombia University. He served as a Captain in the US Army during WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a retired marketing executive.
He and his wife Dorothy moved to Ormond Beach in 1997 where Mr. Jessop pursued his passion for art sketching Florida scenes and drawing cartoons. He will be remembered as a man of style grace and humor.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy his step-daughters Sally Frame Kasaks and Deborah Frame Smith a step-son David Frame five grand children and six great grand children. Mr. Jessop was pre-deceased by his sons Derek and Mark.
The celebration of Mr. Jessop's life will be held on Saturday March 24 at 2:00 PM at the Garden of the Resurrection Grace Lutheran Church 338 Oceanshore Blvd Ormond Beach.
