George was born in Mansfield Ohio. He graduated from St. Peter?s High School in Mansfield OH in 1959 and in 1963 he received his bachelor degree in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University.

George and his wife moved to this area in 2003 from Hilliard Ohio. He was a member of Hilliard United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed cooking.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Dolores; his children Elizabeth Anna Mae Hurlow of Hillard OH Cynthia Lee Hurlow of Myrtle Beach SC and Whitney Elizabeth Hurlow of Milliard OH; his brother John Hurlow of Mansfield OH and 1 Grandchild and his great grandson Mason Kyle Hurlow.
