Our beloved friend and father George Berry Hough age 83 of Pelican Bay passed away in his home on Saturday November 15 2008. A service in his honor will be held Saturday November 22 2008 1:00 PM with Rev. Richard Hill officiating and Joe Hood as guest speaker. Interment and military honors will follow at Daytona Memorial Park North Daytona Beach. Visitation will be Friday November 21 2008 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Baggett and Summers Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes. Mr. George B. Hough was born in Fairmont W. Virginia on May 24 1925 He was a WWII veteran of the US Navy graduate of West Virginia University and dedicated his life to his Firm as a Certified Public Accountant. George came to the Daytona Beach area in 1968 and enjoyed traveling sports playing the stock-market and reading. He was a proud member of PHI KAPPA PSI The Rotary Club The Elks Club ARC Paul Harris Fellow and Pelican Bay Country Club. His beloved wife Frances and son David Hough preceded him in death but he leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted companion Dorothy Solomon 4 children; Diane Jagush Sandy Hook CT George B. Hough Jr. Stuart FL Janet Townshend Port St. Lucie FL and Sara Gail Hough Jupiter FL 3 children by marriage; Gary Smith Crescent Springs KY Cathy Bordas Winchester KY and Joan Piggotte Daytona Beach FL. 11Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
