Memorial service for George Campbell Cruise III 53 of S. Beach Street in Daytona Beach will be held in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach Fl. on Saturday September 24th at 2:00 pm. His family will receive friends from 11:00 am till time of service. Born in Flushing New York he has been a resident of Florida since the early 1970?s. George was a waiter at hotels and restaurants such as The Breakers and Nando?s in Palm Beach and Hisae?s both in Florida and New York. George was a history buff who loved cars and gardening. George loved Florida his family his friends and his shi-tzu Cruiser. His smile was warm and his laugh endearing. He was happiest when helping others which he did in small personal ways and as a court advocate. We all miss him.
Son of the late Philip and Elizabeth Cruise George is survived by a brother Roy Philip Cruise of Eugene OR 4 sisters Jeanne Stepien of Bergenfield NJ Susan Cruise of Tacoma WA Carol Swygert of Maplewood NJ and Elizabeth Cruise of New York NY. George will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews; John Stepien Courtney Stepien Amelia Swygert Susan Swygert and Alexander Abramson.
