George Bollotta Jr. age 69 of Port Orange passed away after a short illness on Friday November 18 2011. A funeral service in his honor will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday Nov. 23 at the Cardwell Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes followed by an interment at Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Tues. 11/22 5:00-7:00.
George was born in Belleville New Jersey to George Sr. and Mary Bollotta. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and dedicated his talents as a grocery attendant for Publix Grocery Store in Port Orange. He was a strong gentleman firm in his convictions that enjoyed Looming and spending time with his grandchildren.
His beloved wife Edna Bollotta preceded him in death and he leaves behind 3 children: Maria (Richard) Cook Theresa (Jeremy) Vegiard and George Bollotta III 5 grandchildren; George VanHorn Bella Bollotta Emily Cook Jordan and Jessica Vegiard a brother; Frank Bollotta and 2 sisters: Theresa Cimmino and Carmela Waer.
