Genevieve "Jerry" Roberta Griswold (née Weaver) passed away on July 17, 2024, in South Daytona, Florida, at the age of 81. Born on August 16, 1942, in Washington, DC, she moved to Florida where she spent many of her later years. Genevieve was a cherished member of her community, known for her love of the beach and her fondness for reading. She held a special affection for Hawaii and Paris, places that captured her heart during her lifetime.

Genevieve is survived by a loving family, including her son, William Weaver of Daytona Beach, FL; daughters, Gail Bozeman of Daytona Beach, and Jill Anne Jackson of South Daytona; son, John Howard of Daytona Beach; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their children. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 24 years, Kenneth Edward Griswold.

Professionally, Genevieve was dedicated to her work at McDonald's inside the Volusia Mall and at Walmart before her retirement. Her commitment to her job was admired by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, located at 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114. Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation beginning at 5:30 PM until the service starts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Genevieve's memory to Barracks of Hope, 962 Derbyshire Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
