Geneva H. Locke 86 of Holly Hill passed away Wednesday April 28 2010. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 1st at 1:00pm at St. Mary's Episcopal Church 216 Orange Ave. Daytona Beach with Burial to follow at Shady Rest Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday April 30th from 6 to 8pm at Baggett and Summers Funeral Home Chapel 736 South Beach Street Daytona Beach.
Geneva was born on May 17 1923 in Centralia Illinois to Robert and Bessie Hediger.
She served in the US Navy during World War II. Geneva aspired to be a commercial artist. She married her childhood sweetheart TSW Locke who passed away in 1966. She devoted her life to raising her children. Geneva was an avid gardener and loved flowers. She is survived by one son Thomas Locke of Holly Hill; her three daughters Janice Cooper of Lake Helen Margaret Locke of Ormond Beach and Lisa Fox of South Daytona; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Baggett and Summers Funeral Home.
