Gaye Iocco, aka (Gay Iocco) was born on August 9, 1941 and passed on April 26, 2026 peacefully at home in Ormond Beach, Florida, after an extended illness. Gaye married her husband Frank, of 70 years, in January 1957. They both have had a life long passion for collecting antiques and going to garage sales. And in spite of her challenging illness, she continued to run her eBay store, until January when she started writing songs. She even got her husband, Frank, on board, creating songs of his own. Gaye and Frank raised four children and their grandson. As her children left home, Gaye pursued her education, earning her GED and embarking on a career in nursing. She graduated with honors and became the charge nurse on the cardiac floor at Ormond Memorial Hospital in Florida, where her dedication and skill left a lasting impact. It was there that she crossed paths with Dr. Holt, who would later perform a life-saving quadruple bypass surgery on Frank, this happened over 25 years ago—a moment that underscored her unwavering commitment to family and care for others. Gaye was surrounded by people who treasured her deeply. She had a strong faith and love for God. Her strength, compassion, and creativity will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers or gifts the family has requested donations be made to a charity of your choice. Please share your memories and messages in her remembrance.
