Gaspare Indelicato, a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, nephew, and friend passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, at 85 years old. Born on December 11, the child of Vincenza and Pasquale Indelicato. Born and raised in Sicily, Italy where he lived with his parents and siblings, Antoinette, Maria, Joseph, and Graziella until arriving to America in 1956.

By his father's side he opened up a butcher shop which was the start of his great work in the food and restaurant business which included opening Delcato's Pizzeria and Restaurant with his son Pasquale, patroned by many for 30 years.

The most remarkable is the love and marriage with his beautiful wife Maria for 67 years. They share three children together Pasquale wife Claudia, Rosario wife Loreen, and Diane husband John as well as 7 grandchildren Justine husband Michael, Christopher wife Maria, Alyssa husband Steven, Luca, Matteo, Chiara and his 6 great-grandchildren, John, Antonio, Oliver, Nico, Thomas, and Liam.

Not only will he be remembered for his hard-work and dedication, but above all else, he will be remembered for the love, happiness, strength and security he provided his immediate and extended family, as well as the joy he brought to all those in his presence. He was a man of integrity and love, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Gaspare's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, fishing, boating, playing bocce, spending time with his family, and staying connected with those near and far thru Facebook.

He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and siblings Maria and Joseph, along with countless friends and extended who will miss him dearly.


A funeral service will be held on March 20th at 8:30 AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Gaspare's heart.

We find comfort in knowing that Gaspare's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
