Gary Lee Valery, 67, of Port Orange was called home Sunday, February 7, 2021. Gary passed away peacefully at Halifax Hospital with his wife and family by his side.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon; his son Corey Valery (Wife Brigitte); daughters Alyce Valery-Sonney (husband Gene) and Angela Valery; grandchildren Brianna, Avery and Chloe Valery, Heather and Daniel Dempsey, Joey and Kaelyn Horton, Kaylee and Shayla Levall, Cayden Rutherford and Orion McDaniel; sister Tina Thropp (Husband Thomas); brothers Ronald and Donald Valery, sister-in-law Bonnie Valery, many nieces and nephews and his loving dog Poncho.

Gary's family would like to thank the ICU team at Halifax hospital for their kindness and compassion during his care.
