Gary Richard Pfeiffer, 62, of DeLand passed away Monday Nov 4, 2019. He was born September 30, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pa, the son of Richard (deceased) and Virginia Pfeiffer. He graduated from North Hills High School in Pittsburgh. At age 16 he was a volunteer fire fighter at Evergreen Fire Hall, Station 246 in Pittsburgh. Gary was a senior project manager of an architectural engineering firm.

He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Marie Pfeiffer and Sarah Elizabeth Pfeiffer, his mother Virginia Pfeiffer, his brother Ryan Pfeiffer and his two sisters, Renee Pfeiffer and Denise (Pfeiffer) Gerst and his two grandchildren Savannah and Scarlett.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
