Frederick White age 95 of Port Orange formerly of Ormond Beach passed away quietly on Friday October 2 2009. A simple graveside service with military honors will be held Friday October 16 2009; 11:00 AM. at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

Frederick "Mr. Good Person " was born in Gloversville New York to Frederick and Alice White. He was a proud US Navy "SeaBes" veteran of WWII who dedicated his life to his community church and family. He was the Manager of Schenectady District Niagara Mohawk Power Corp and his community activates included; Exec. Board Member of S.I.D.C. the Rotary Club Boy Scouts of American ;Vice Pres board Member and recipient of the Silver Beaver Award. He was a trustee for Amsterdam Savings Bank Vol. Advisory Board member of O.D. Heck Center Board member of Schenectady United Fund and a Mohawk Club member. After retirement in Florida he joined Daytona Country Club and St. Mary's Episcopal Church. He will best be remembered for his vibrant smile and strong heart. His parents and 3 brothers; Richard Robert and Cecil White preceded him in death and he leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 63 years; Ruth White a son James White and his fianc' Kim Ohmer Port Orange FL a daughter Wendelin White of Ormond Beach FL a granddaughter Rebecca (Rodney) Gwiazdonski and 2 granddaughters Rylee Grace and Carlee Lizbeth.
