Funeral Mass for Frederick J. Abbate 74 of Ponce Inlet who passed away on July 1 2007 will be held at 11 a.m. Friday July 6 2007 at Epiphany Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Kamide officiating. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday July 5 2007 at the Port Orange Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes. Fred graduated from St. Francis College with a B.A. Degree and went on to work as an account executive for Hartford Insurance and CNA Insurance until his retirement in 1995. Although he enjoyed fishing and trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas his greatest passion in life was for his family. Fred leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years Linda; three children Fred Jr. Susan and William; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
