Freda Ramey age 76 a resident since 1955 died Sunday April 9 2006 at her home in Daytona Beach. Family will receive friends from 1-2pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm Wednesday April 12 2006 at Lohman Daytona Funeral Home 1423 Bellevue Avenue. Burial will follow in Daytona Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Ramey was born in Bethany Ohio on February 12 1930. She was a Homemaker and was an active member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ for 49 years and was a member of Christian Women?s Fellowship serving on the banner Committee. In past years she Cooked Dinners for Senior members of the congregation and prepared meals for Christian Men?s Fellowship Monthly Meetings. She enjoyed fishing Shrimping and visits to the Keys also cooking needlepoint and Crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years Bill 4 daughters Beverly Sue Mitchell of Rocky Face GA Mary Katherine Saufl of Sanford FL Denise Coe of Ormond Beach Deborah Erb of Gainesville FL and William R Ramey Jr. of Ormond Beach FL Sisters Betty Kutschara of Ca Barbara Brockman of Ohio Six grandchildren two Great Grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Hospice Care Center in Port Orange Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange Fl 32129 or the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ 326 South Palmetto Avenue Daytona Beach FL.
