Fred Carroll Schnupp of Holly Hill FL age 77 passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on March 17 2006 in his home. His family is planning a private memorial service to be announced at a later date. Fred was born on February 8 1929 in Nashville TN. After serving in the Coast Guard Fred moved to the Daytona Beach area where he met his wife Florence. Fred worked in construction and loved boating fishing and particularly shrimping. He also loved Nascar and enjoyed watching the races. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Florence his daughter Katrina and son-in-law Gordon McConnell of Holly Hill FL; his five stepchildren Stanley Mitchell III Robert Mitchell Eva Kirton and Stephanie Mitchell all of Daytona Beach FL John Mitchell of Sanford FL his granddaughter Amanda McConnell 4 step grandchildren one great granddaughter and his sister Ramona and husband Rev. William Steltemeier. Memorial donations may be made in Fred?s memory to the Hospice of Volusia Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
