Fred B. Moody 91 of Palm Coast Fl passed away on January 8 2011. A Memorial service will be held on January12 2011 at 2:00pm at Palm Coast United Methodist Church 5200 Belle Terre Pkwy Palm Coast 32137.

Fred was born on July 24 1919 to the late Thelma (Clayton) and Mr. Fred Moody in Cromona Kentucky. The Moody family moved to Nashville Tennessee where Fred was raised. After high school Fred joined the United States Army serving his country proudly during WWII. Following his discharge he continued his education at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Moody was employed by and retired from the Western Electric Company for more than 30 years.

Mr. Moody enjoyed collecting coins and watching T.V. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with family; and was a very devoted husband and father. Fred was a devoted parishioner of the Palm Coast United Methodist Church and member of the Western Pioneers and the VFW.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents Thelma and Fred Moody and Brothers Thomas and Ralph Moody. He is survived by beloved wife of 61 years Mary Weekley Moody daughters Cheryl Moody Marilyn (Phil) Moore; Sister Cynthia Donnell; many extended family members; and a multitude of friends.
