Fred Edward Godawa 59 of South Daytona passed away on Sunday June 29 2008. His family will be receiving friends at the Baggett-Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach on Thursday July 3 2008 from 6 pm until 8 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of Baggett-Summers Funeral Home on Saturday July 5 2008 at 2 pm with interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
He was born on September 9 1948 in South Daytona to Edward and Minnie Godawa. Fred was a lifetime resident of South Daytona and was a self employed Antique and Coin dealer. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his garden and his rose's also he loved walking in his neighborhood and working on his coins. Survivors include his two sons Fred and daughter in law Deneen Godawa Jr. of Port Orange Matthew Marshal Godawa of Townsend MA; his two daughters Diana and son in law Scott Pendleton of Port Orange and Evonda and son in law Ron Sibley of New Smyrna; his two sisters Linda and brother in law Paul Creech of Port Orange and Tonya and brother in law Donnie Vickers of South Daytona. Also his grandchildren Bo and Joshua Godawa and Allen and Alaina Fiscus. And Diana Doyle his former wife of 27 years and mother of Evonda Diana and Fred.
