Memorial Service for Fred Cartwright age 62 of Ormond Beach will be held Tuesday November 22 2005 at 7 PM in Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. His family will receive friends from 6 PM until service time. Fred was born March 25 1943 in Pontiac Michigan and moved to this area with his family in 1949. He was a graduate of Mainland High School and attended D.B.C.C. Fred worked for G.E. for 7 years before owning/operating his own business Cartwright?s Automotive & Towing for 25 years. Fred loved NASCAR and racing the local tracks in Volusia County and loved all sports. Fred was of the Christian faith and a member of Daytona Beach Christian Church. He was a very loving and kind-hearted man and devoted to his family and loved ones. He will be cherished and remembered in many happy and wonderful ways. Mr. Cartwright was preceded in death by his parents Jack & Barbara Cartwright; sons Frederick H. & Casey Richard Cartwright and his brother Jimmy Cartwright. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Lois Cartwright; daughter Debbie Cartright of Tyron PA; son Joe Cartwright & wife Sheryl of Ormond Beach; Freddy Cartwright of Ormond Beach; a brother Henry Cartwright and his wife Pam of Palm Coast and two grandchildren Steven Smith & Hunter Cartwright and lots of beloved friends.
