Fred Anderson was born on May 12th, 1930, in Queens, New York. He went to rest on December 14th, 2022.

Fred was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He is survived by his wife Anne, sons Daniel and Thomas, and daughters-in-law Charlene and Cecile. He served in the US Marine Corps and was a member of the New York Stock Exchange for over 30 years.

He always had a joke to tell with his quick wit and had a smile for those he met. Fred enjoyed writing humorous poems and loved jazz, Stan Kenton being one of his favorite artists. He was extremely generous to family and friends and an avid lover of animals. Fred supported many charities for animals, children, Veterans, and the Salvation Army.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Lohman Funeral Home - 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL 32127. Fred will be interred at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 21st, at 11:00 AM.
