Mass of Christian Burial for Franzi Schmid, 90, will be held Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with a noon interment to follow services at DeLand Memorial Gardens.

Franzi was born July 4, 1922 in New York City, and passed away June 20, 2013. She was happy with her life in New York City; Columbus, Ohio; Miami, FL; and DeLand, FL. She started working in 1944 for National Airlines and retired from Pan Am in 1980 when she then moved to DeLand. She loved to travel and traveled the world. She was a member of St. Peter's Church and of the NCCW. Survivors are cousins in Ohio and Europe.
