Frantz Mary Mars, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He was 58.  Frantz was born February 10 ^th , 1962 in Haiti, as the first born of Oscar and Denise G. (Desrouleaux) Mars.

Frantz immigrated to the United States on October 1 ^ST 1977. He attended Frank H. Morrell High School in Irvington, New Jersey. Post-graduation, he pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He later attended Florida Memorial University, where he acquired a bachelor's degree in computer science.  He enjoyed soccer, conversing about politics and researching topics of interest. He attended Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, became very involved and joined the groups of the Legion of Mary and CHIRP.  He also wrote a book on the topic of marriage entitled, "Seeking Love, Marriage and Family: How to Reach Happiness."

He is survived by his mother Denise; wife, Jeannette; children, Tommy, Sadrack, Wistler and Pery; daughter, Cynthia Mars from former spouse Chantal Lochard; siblings, Junie Mars and Guy-Robert Mars, and nephews Kevin and Ricardo Duplan.

Frantz was preceded in death by his father Oscar Mars.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am, Saturday, January 30 ^th at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, Florida, 32164.  Rev. Fr. Jose will be the celebrant.  Interment will take place at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, Florida following the funeral service.
