Franklin S. Morris 87 of Ormond Beach died September 24 2008.

Franklin was born in Bronx NY on May 25 1921. He served in the Air Force in World War II and retired as a Lt. Colonel from the NY Air National Guard in January 1972. Franklin and his wife later moved from Endicott NY to Boca Raton FL where he went on to becoming a Senior Test Engineer with IBM and retired after 30 years of service.

Franklin will be remembered for his love of flying bowling and baseball. He was especially proud of his grandchildren who always shared their passions with him. His greatest love was his wife and family and desire to make this world a better place for them.

Franklin is survived by Marjorie his loving wife of 62 years; daughters Donna Miller Kingston NY;Linda (Dana) Noble Merritt Island FL; sister Alice Litts Charlton NY; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers William and Walter Morris.

A memorial service is planned for October at Wheeler Funeral Home in Ballston Spa NY. Interment will follow at the Sweetman Cemetery Charleton NY. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.
