Frankie died unexpectedly on September 23 rd at Leesburg Regional Hospital, Florida.  A gentle, sweet, caring wife, mother, sister and friend to many.  Frankie is survived by her husband of 50 years, S. Mike Prugh, daughter Shanda Prugh (Bennie Strickland), brother Hoyt Grissom (Barbara), sister Peggy Harwood, nephew Rick Harwood and numerous extended family members.  Frankie was predeceased by her parents Alvin and Novia Grissom. Frankie was born in Hodges, Alabama and grew up in Daytona Beach. She graduated from Mainland High School in 1966 where she was a member of the Cotillion Club, served as Junior Class Vice President and Board of Directors student representative.  Frankie was employed by Winn-Dixie, Inc. and Atlantic Bank, Daytona Beach. After moving to Altamonte Springs for a few years, Frankie settled with her family in Fruitland Park, FL.

A loyal Alabama Crimson Tide fan, she proudly and loudly supported the Roll Tide.  She loved people and particularly enjoyed her many trips to Biloxi, MS and Las Vegas, NV.  Her genuine love for her family and Catholic faith were reflected in her daily devotion to helping others and bringing a joyful laugh into their day.
