Francis J. ?Frank? Vaccaro age 90 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 1 2006 at Flagler Pines Nursing Facility in Bunnell Florida. A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 6 2006 in the chapel of Lohman Funeral home Palm Coast at 4:00 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until 12 PM and from 2 PM until 4 PM. Following services Frank will be interred in Florida National Veteran?s Cemetery in Bushnell FL.
Frank was born in New York on March 15 1916 to Gabriel & Lucille Vacarro. He served in the U.S. Army receiving an Honorable Discharge in November 1945. Frank worked as a meat cutter retiring from the A&P grocery store chain. He moved to Palm Coast in 1997 with his wife Helen from the Poconos. Frank loved gardening and landscaping his yard. He was raised Catholic and attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Helen when able.
Left to cherish Frank?s memories are his beloved wife of 33 years Helen; children Joseph Frances & Richard; step-children Patricia Dianne & James; grandchildren Tina Michelle & Lindsay; brothers Paul & Alfred and sister Clare.
