Frank T. Tiesner, 81, a resident of Port Orange, Florida passed away Sunday July 17th in Daytona Beach. Frank was born in Chicago, Illinois but spent many of his years in Florida, which afforded him the opportunity to enjoy his favorite hobby of golf, year around. He was also a big fan of football and enjoyed being a pilot and flew as often as he could. Frank proudly served his country in both the U.S. Naval Reserve and the U.S. Army. Those left to cherish Frank's memory are his loving wife of over 45 years, Doris, his son Ernest Tiesner and grandson Andreas Tiesner, both of Port Orange, Fl. and his brother Thomas (Kathleen) Tiesner of Stanton Michigan. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 22nd at 9:00 a.m. at the Basilica of St. Paul in Daytona Beach followed by interment at Daytona Memorial Park with military honors.
