Frank David Sword age 51 passed away on March 25 2010 at Halifax Hospital Daytona Beach Florida. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday April 6th at 10:00 AM at Edgewater New Smyrna Cemetery 700 S. Ridgewood Ave. Edgewater FL (386) 478-1100 with Pastor Jerry Fincher Atlantic Coast Community Church officiating. Frank was born on March 6 1959 in North Beach Maryland to Frank and Amy Sword. In the early 70's Frank relocated to Volusia County from Maryland. He was a positive out-going guy loved helping people with just about anything he was gifted in mechanical and electrical application he was a regional charter member of HOGS enjoyed riding his Harley's and working on his RV jeeps and bikes. He was a HAM radio operator loved cats camping and enjoying the company of an abundant number of friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Amy Sword and by his sister and her husband Virginia and Ed Myers. She is survived by his wife of 32 years Carol A. Sword of Daytona Beach FL brother Joe D. Coakley of Charleston West Virginia and by a nephew and three nieces. Frank will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy University of Arkansas for Medical Science 4301 W.
