Frank J Plennert age 93 died peacefully on May 11 2011 at Halifax Hospital. There will be a Gathering at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home Daytona Beach on Wednesday May 18th from 4-6pm. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held Thursday May 19th at 8:30am at Our Lady of Hope in Port Orange FL.
Frank was born and raised in Chicago IL where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree from DePaul University. He was a Captain in the US Army. Frank moved to Daytona Beach from Rhode Island in 1983.
Frank was an avid golfer and enjoyed singing and dancing. He was a member of the Dirty Dozen golf team. He was the ""Prince Charming of Pelican Bay Country Club"" by all who knew him.
Those who are left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Evelyn; his beloved daughter Arlene Fisher of Cape Cod MA; his sister Evelyn Kurgan of Mt. Prospect IL; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; along with numerous friends and family.
