Frank "Jamey" Plemons Jr. 43 of Port Lucie FL died in a tragic accident on Wednesday February 13 2013. Jamey was born February 9 1970 in Cleveland Tennessee to Frank and Wanda Sue (Cross) Plemons. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday February 17th between the hours of 2~6 pm followed by A "Celebration of Life" on Monday the 18th at 10:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park followed by a reception at Daytona Memorial Funeral Home. Jamey was very athletic an outstanding sportsman. He excelled especially in baseball where he was nominated to represent the United States baseball team in Australia. Jamey was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan especially when it came to Dale Earnhardt Jr. He was also a big FSU fan. He loved his time outdoors fishing and boating. Indoors he enjoyed going to the movies attending concerts and relaxing at home in front of the TV especially wrestlin g. Jamey is survived by his son Jamey Mitchell Rossville GA his mother Sue (John) Stoddart S. Daytona Beach FL father Frank James Plemons Sr. Ocala FL his sister Lisa Gunn S. Daytona Beach FL his fiance Melonie Stahman niece Keri (Dustin) Cain Nation nephew Brandon Gunn his special great-nephew Peyton Cain a great-niece Cambryn Nation great-nephew Landon Nation aunt Bobbie (Paul) Scruggs two great aunts Anna Jean Smith and Christine Waldrop great-uncle Raymond (Helen) Stone cousins Mark (Kelly) Scruggs and Michelle Deliman special lifetime friends Clarence and Patricia Harris as well as Sue and the late Fritz Massie. He will be missed by numerous loving friends and extended family members. Honoring Frank and serving as pallbearers; Andy Atkins III Ronald Gunn Mark Scruggs Dustin Nation Brandon Gunn Chris Melton John Ewing. Honorary pallbearers Jamey Plemons and Peyton Cain.
