Frank James Miller 83 a longtime resident of Daytona Beach passed away Tuesday November 13 2012. He was born in Jamestown N.Y. to the late James C and Lula Mae Miller. He is survived by his wife Helen H. Miller and his step children; Margaret Hudson Birmingham AL; Susan Pierce Port Orange FL; Terry (Marica) Huckle Ormond Beach FL; Sherry (Virgil) Press Shelby N.C.; and many friends. Frank was known to never meet a stranger and engaged all he met with his smile and humor. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. After serving he attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University earning a degree in aviation mechanics. He worked for NASCAR aviation as a aeronautical mechanic for 40 years until his retirement in 2010. He also served as a mason for more than 50 years. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday December 2 2012 at 10:00 A.M at the United Presbyterian Church 730 Beville Road Daytona Beach.
