Frank R. Meyers was born in Providence, Rhode Island on June 23, 1932 to Frank Sr. and Ruth Meyers. He passed away in Ormond Beach, Florida on May 11, 2017. Frank was predeceased by his parents, wife Gladys, stepdaughter Glenda, and brother Robert. He is survived by daughters Lynne Lindsey and Lisa Fisk, stepdaughter Laura Shevlin, brothers John and Charles, and grandchildren Steven Fisk and Carrie Fisk.
He served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. Frank provided support from a base in Greenland and received the National Defense Service Medal.
Frank graduated from the University of Baltimore with a bachelor degree in Industrial Management Studies. He spent many years working as technical staff in the aerospace field. After his aerospace career, Frank worked in federal and state government programs providing training to low-income and unemployed workers. In retirement, Frank enjoyed farming, CB radios, carpentry, wildlife, and country living. He was a strong believer in the protection of natural resources.
