Frank J. Massoni 91 of Port Orange died in the morning hours of Saturday November 6 2010. Frank was born in New York City New York on August 4 1919. He grew up in Oceanside New York where he graduated from Oceanside High School. In 1941 Frank began a career as a project manager with the prestigious aircraft contracting company Grumman. Just four years later on July 28 1945 Frank married the love of his life and best friend Lillian Grim whom he adoringly referred to as "Lill". Frank and Lill moved from New York to Florida in 1981 and spent their time going on road trips and putzing in the yard. Frank was also a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. His family will remember him as a loving and caring individual and above all an adoring husband to Lill. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years Lillian three sisters-in law and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome to join the family at a Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Frank on Sunday November 14 2010 at 2:00pm at Grace Episcopal Church 4110 South Ridgewood Avenue
Port Orange 32127. A graveside service will take place at Daytona Memorial Park 1425 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach on Monday November 15 2010 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Franks' memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler or to a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
